White chocolate and Maltitol : 2 new recipes

Enjoy discovering the new Nut’Alsace® with white chocolate and Nut’Alsace® with maltitol flavours.
This recipe with artificial flavouring  is mainly intended for diabetics.

The characteristics of maltitol make it possible to completely replace the sucrose. The polyols only raise the glycemia and insulemia by a very small amount and are therefore suited to consumption by diabetics.

The result is very close to the original spread using 45% hazelnuts with regard to taste.

Maltitol is also non-cariogenic: it does not encourage tooth decay.

There are a few usage precautions which should be born in mind:

  • Ingesting too much (about 100g/day of chocolate with maltitol for an adult and 65g/day for a child) may have a laxative effect.
  • With some diabetics, maltitol may still raise glycemia and should be checked on a case-by-case basis: contact your doctor straight away if in doubt.
  • IMPORTANT, THE RECIPE CONTAINS THE SUGAR NATURALLY PRESENT IN HAZELNUTS AND MILK
